In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Luciano Sidro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aurelio Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sportivo Pueyrredon booed when Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Olando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Silvano Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Pueyrredon's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Olando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Olando struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luciano Sidro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Pueyrredon. After a rather tough play, Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's Ramiro Osorio got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the game's 38th minute Sportivo Pueyrredon's Atilano Ederono took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Luciano Sidro and thus the score was 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Celso Rufio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Gartxot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Olando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Silvano Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's Luciano Sidro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Sportivo Pueyrredon's Aurelio Martxel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Sidro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Aurelio Martxel scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Sidro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's Luciano Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Olando in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Casimiro Iyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Rufio in the 78th minute of the match. Celso Rufio struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Celso Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Martxel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Sidro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Jacinto Paez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
