But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Guillelmo couldn't finish the play. Alonzo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Bermund in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Pinguinos's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Venerando came free, but Baldomiro Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Firme came out of the goal and Freddy Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Freddy Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Firme. Pinguinos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Icaño AFC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Pinguinos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaston Cordairo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Icaño AFC's corner Dalmacio Laurentzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomiro Firme quite easily take care of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Lucas Bermund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alonzo Azevedo, 2-2. Freddy Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Firme having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pinguinos's zone, Martin Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Firme came out of the goal and Martin Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Candido Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinguinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Bermund in the 90th minute of play. When Candido Savion came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pinguinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Savion couldn't finish the play. The Pinguinos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Icaño AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
