Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5010, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 5) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Freddy Venerando made the kick off which started today's match. Ulises Dantae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Azevedo having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Ulises Dantae got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alonzo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Oro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Ondino's late challenge caught a Icaño AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Ondino helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Guillelmo in the 19th minute of play forced Animaniacs's goalkeeper Jonatan Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Tavio having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play Animaniacs's Haroldo Ondino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 33rd minute, Haroldo Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Icaño AFC's Alonzo Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Icaño AFC from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Oro struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Alonzo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Animaniacs. When Ulises Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Animaniacs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Dantae couldn't finish the play. If Ulises Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Perrando in the 44th minute of the match. Icaño AFC's Martin Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Guillelmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. Animaniacs's Jonatan Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Animaniacs from getting a goal against them. Freddy Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonatan Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Animaniacs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martin Guillelmo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Animaniacs's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Venerando came free, but Jonatan Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Martin Guillelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonatan Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dalmacio Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Icaño AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dalmacio Laurentzi hit a great ball. Jonatan Tavio made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Martin Guillelmo sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Icaño AFC's Freddy Venerando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Ulises Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Animaniacs's Jonatan Tavio got control of the ball when Martin Guillelmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Animaniacs's Jonatan Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Venerando in the 96th minute of play. The Animaniacs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Icaño AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Icaño AFC.
