With an all-out effort, Países Bajos's Gavino Chumo threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clodoveo Beliran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Beliran in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Chumo saved River Silver from getting behind. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Países Bajos's Clodoveo Beliran fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Países Bajos's Godofredo Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Beliran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gavino Chumo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Países Bajos's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Domingues came free, but Baltasar Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Países Bajos booed when River Silver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Silver's zone, Godofredo Ondino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Chumo came out of the goal and Godofredo Ondino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Clodoveo Beliran came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Países Bajos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Beliran couldn't finish the play. Gavino Chumo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Beliran's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Países Bajos's Clodoveo Beliran got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, River Silver's Lucas Tab got a free kick in the 44th minute. Clodoveo Beliran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the River Silver defense, Godofredo Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Chumo. The River Silver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Chumo should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Beliran was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rdth minute of the game Clodoveo Beliran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Silver's Gavino Chumo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Prospero Luke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gavino Chumo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clodoveo Beliran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Chumo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Clodoveo Beliran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Países Bajos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
