The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victoriano Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. In the 16th minute, Cristo Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evaristo Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Evaristo Hernando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tello's Anastasio Mel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Hernando in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Mel saved Tello from getting behind. If Evaristo Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Evaristo Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Peru in the 35th minute of play forced Tello's goalkeeper Anastasio Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Endira in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Endira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Tello got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Endira. In the 39th minute, Bernardo Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Tello's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Peru came free, but Anastasio Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Espiridion hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Hernando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amboy's Ernesto Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Endira in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Tello's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Hernando came free, but Anastasio Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
