If Eulalio Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Prospero Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Acuña got free with Prospero Eskuin in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Instituto ACC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Perico came free, but Aureliano Ermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Frascuelo in the 30th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Julian Frascuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atené's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Instituto ACC the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Frascuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atené getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Julian Frascuelo hit a great ball. Eulalio Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Prospero Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Eulalio Acuña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Eskuin. Atené's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Acuña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, Instituto ACC's Eulalio Acuña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Eskuin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Iigo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Eudoxio in the 62nd minute of play forced Atené's goalkeeper Prospero Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Donato Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Instituto ACC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Corderun couldn't finish the play. If Arnulfo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Eulalio Acuña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Eulalio Acuña put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Eskuin. After having played for 87 minutes, Andres Eudoxio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Instituto ACC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Eudoxio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantino Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Amancio Matai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Eskuin. Atené's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Instituto ACC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
