Amadeo Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Raebert having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Los Piojos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Hernando came free, but Rosendo Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Piojos F.C.'s Arnaldo Marz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Amado Peru scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Lop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Piojos F.C.'s Rosendo Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Peru in the 25th minute of play. Los Piojos F.C.'s Matias Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Marz in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Amadeo Guillelme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Lop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amadeo Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Raebert having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Amboy's Isidoro Ostadar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ernesto Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Jaen in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Hernando was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Hernando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Lop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Los Piojos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Lop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Peru. Rosendo Lop made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Amado Peru sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Hernando in the 59th minute of play forced Los Piojos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Piojos F.C.'s Rosendo Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Hernando in the 72nd minute of play. Evaristo Hernando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosendo Lop came out and tried to block the shot, but Evaristo Hernando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. Matias Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ernesto Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Amboy got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Beltran. In the 96th minute Amadeo Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amboy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
