Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Feliberto Lazcano kicked off to start the match. Javier Elodio came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Laprida AFC's Amador Ourente. But to his dismay, Amador Ourente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jose Chumo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Tome in the 10th minute. Augusto Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jose Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Sixto Oinaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jose Chumo to make any attempt to save it. Guzmán's Emanuel Tome was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Feliberto Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Javier Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Oinaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Chumo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Amador Ourente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Salvator hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Emanuel Tome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eusebio Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Oinaz was the one to do the kick off. Amador Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Guzmán's Javier Elodio got control of the ball when Amador Ourente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guzmán's Sixto Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Lazcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Elodio having to make a save. In the 68th minute of the match Urbano Cesario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Elodio skillfully saved the ball. After 69 played minutes Guzmán got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Katia. 72 minutes into the game, Prospero Pabla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laprida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guzmán the free kick.
