In the 29th minute Marcelo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Videl might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Lop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Videl ran back to his position shaking his head. After 41 played minutes Dorila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Nabar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Cordara to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dorila AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nery Pumpido. After 75 played minutes, Los Piojos F.C.'s Dionisio Abella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nery Pumpido came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Piojos F.C. reached it. A collision led to Dorila AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Florencio Caitano hit a great ball. Dorila AFC's Albino Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Los Piojos F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Dorila AFC had controlled the match.
