After 9 minutes of play, Sastre's Eustaquio Brion made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Pelagius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Felipe Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Pico AFC defense, Eustaquio Brion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Pelagius. The Pico AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Pelagius should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Pico AFC's Bernabe Ciceron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Junior Roland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eustaquio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Felipe Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Brion came free, but Felipe Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pico AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sastre were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Brion was the one to do the kick off. Sastre's Omar Egoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eustaquio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pico AFC's zone, Omar Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Pelagius came out of the goal and Omar Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pico AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Pelagius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Facundo Pechon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Evaristo Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Pelagius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Egoitz in the 61st minute. Pico AFC's Felipe Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Egoitz in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Sastre booed when Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Brion in the 70th minute of play forced Pico AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Eustaquio Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Egoitz struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Felipe Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sastre. Junior Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Liberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Marco Otoniel came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Felipe Pelagius, but to the joy of Pico AFC's supporters the ball went over. In the 88th minute, Jeremias Iturri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Felipe Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Pelagius was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Eustaquio Brion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustaquio Brion really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Sastre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
