Norberto Ramos, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 12th minute, Geronimo Ibon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. When Omar Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sastre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Sastre's Junior Roland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sastre from getting a goal against them. Vertientes AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sastre's much stronger midfield.
