Gaston Quinteros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 12 minutes, Sixto Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Romano's late challenge caught a Molinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Romano helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Liberto in the 22nd minute of play. Gaston Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Felipe Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Quentin got free with Felipe Pelagius in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 34 minutes, Jeremias Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Bernabe Ciceron fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pico AFC's protests and gave Bernabe Ciceron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Molinos booed when Pico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Fulgencio Chesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pico AFC's Felipe Pelagius didn't even have to move. After the first half Pico AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Ivan Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute Christian Savier suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Bernabe Ciceron got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 58 played minutes Pico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Ciceron. If Sixto Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Pico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Quentin came free, but Felipe Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeremias Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 79th minute when Ivan Quentin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Molinos's Agustin Uxio got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Honorio Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Ivan Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Macerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gaston Quinteros made a huge save.
