Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Piorno in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Pelagius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Banegas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Enrique Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Jonatan Macerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Mergildo. Pueyrredón FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Macerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Pueyrredón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Liberto came free, but Adolfo Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Piorno was the one to do the kick off. Jonatan Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Adolfo Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Mergildo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jonatan Macerio sent off a good shot on target. If Aquilino Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Feliu in the 60th minute of play forced Pico AFC's goalkeeper Felipe Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Aquilino Piorno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Felipe Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Feliu in the 69th minute of the match. Jonatan Macerios short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Adolfo Mergildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquilino Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Pelagius having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Francisco Banegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Pueyrredón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Maule to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Jonatan Macerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Mergildo.
