In the 26th minute, Marcelo Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Maura having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Vertientes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Frantzes. Joaquin Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Isias's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Nereo Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tomás Monico took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Maura. Joaquin Maura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joaquin Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Monico in the 38th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ's Marcelo Isias made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Maura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After 52 played minutes Vertientes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Ranolfo. Marcelo Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joaquin Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Isias in the 70th minute of play. When Vertientes AFC's Julian Bernebe in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Vertientes AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sebastian Clis hit a great ball. If Tomás Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Tomás Monico got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Benjamin Napier fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ's protests and gave Benjamin Napier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Benjamin Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vertientes AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
