After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Tucson's zone, Mauro Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Raulo came out of the goal and Mauro Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Ortle didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sporting Tucson's Humberto Mark shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Oidor got free with Gervasio Raulo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimeno Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sporting Tucson's Lorenzo Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Maximiliano Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
