Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavino Papo kicked off to start the match. Pablo Uzuri charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Uzuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Tucson's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Papo came free, but Gervasio Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Tucson getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mario Oliverio hit a great ball. When Lorenzo Dorio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sporting Tucson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Dorio couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Quinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Raulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Marcos Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Dorio in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Dorio was the one to do the kick off. Tadeo Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gervasio Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Papo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Papo ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Gervasio Raulo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 65 minutes into the game, Zacarias Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Tucson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JuventusRG the free kick. Zacarias Pedroso hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Tadeo Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Mark's late challenge caught a JuventusRG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Mark helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tadeo Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gavino Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Isidor during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Isidor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Tucson's zone, Tadeo Quinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Raulo came out of the goal and Tadeo Quinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over JuventusRG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Tucson throughout the match.
