After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Amado Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calamar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Millan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Poz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Aurelio Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calamar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demonios United the free kick. Jaime Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Poz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Francisco Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Calvino in the 29th minute of the match. If Serafin Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Chaime stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Ishmael during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serafin Calvino struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Francisco Poz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calamar FC. Calamar FC's Horacio Rudolfo was substituted for Serafin Calvino. The supporters of Calamar FC booed when Demonios United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calamar FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
