Urbano Ordono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Balendin having to make a save. Urbano Ordono struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Generoso Balendin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia de Tincho. 10 minutes into the match, Esteban Ur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of monterrey CF's Generoso Balendin. Generoso Balendin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Epifanio Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Nazario got free with Epifanio Benet in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, monterrey CF's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ordono came free, but Generoso Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Ur struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Generoso Balendin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia de Tincho. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for monterrey CF! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for La Academia de Tincho. Carmelo Natanael stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Generoso Balendin. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Ur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind monterrey CF's goalkeeper Generoso Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benet having to interfere. Epifanio Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Nazario in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Nicasio Peter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Academia de Tincho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave monterrey CF the free kick. A collision led to La Academia de Tincho getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nicasio Peter hit a great ball. monterrey CF's Paolo Gil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Academia de Tincho. Ildefonso Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benet having to interfere. Generoso Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Ordono in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Esteban Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Ur in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Balendin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbano Ordono scored 0-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Balendin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Balendin came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Academia de Tincho's Urbano Ordono. But to his dismay, Urbano Ordono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The La Academia de Tincho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
