When Felipe Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IgNic FC's protests and gave Felipe Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes IgNic FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Laurin. Ernesto James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Rosendo Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Aritza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Porfirio came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Aritza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Dario Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Tartalo having to interfere. Fabian Acuña in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fermin Porfirio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Acuña in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Porfirio saved El Millo FC from getting behind. Agustin Aritza might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Porfirio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Aritza ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Fermin Porfirio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ernesto James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulino Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Acuña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Tartalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernesto James showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 51 minute of play. Fabian Acuña succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Reynaldo Galtero charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Galtero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, El Millo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of El Millo FC booed when IgNic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Igon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Fabian Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabian Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute of the match, Dario Monico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulino Tartalo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Acuña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Porfirio having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Igon in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Porfirio saved El Millo FC from getting behind. In the 91stth minute of the game Fabian Acuña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Millo FC's Fermin Porfirio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to El Millo FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Raimundo Valerio hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IgNic FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Millo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
