Horcones AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Lizer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Celestino Ramos came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Crow Nest's Saverio Lizer. But to his dismay, Saverio Lizer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Alejandro Ixidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crow Nest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horcones AFC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Alejandro Ixidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25thth minute of the game Saverio Lizer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horcones AFC's Celestino Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Saverio Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crow Nest's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Lizer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After recieving a nice pass, Horcones AFC's Edgard Calixto tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Hipolito Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horcones AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Casado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Bide made a kick off. When Jeronimo Ugaitz fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crow Nest's protests and gave Jeronimo Ugaitz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Crow Nest's Jeronimo Ugaitz got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Saverio Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Bide struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Celestino Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crow Nest. Crow Nest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saverio Lizer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Celestino Ramos made a huge save. When Horcones AFC's Hipolito Mino in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute Juan Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Horcones AFC booed when Crow Nest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saverio Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
