Jorge Hitzeder hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Ernesto James recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Generoso Balendin. Ernesto James showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Ernesto James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Millo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dario Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Millo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Monico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Monico in the 21st minute of play forced monterrey CF's goalkeeper Generoso Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Valerio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Generoso Balendin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto James's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Dario Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Ildefonso Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Hitzeder's late challenge caught a El Millo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Hitzeder helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes in the game, Ernesto James fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Generoso Balendin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto James in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Balendin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Millo FC's Fermin Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Procopio in the 43rd minute of play. Gaudencio Procopio scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Porfirio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Procopio was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, El Millo FC's Dario Monico made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Generoso Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto James in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind monterrey CF's goalkeeper Generoso Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ildefonso Nazario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Fermin Porfirio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Generoso Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Monico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Generoso Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Dario Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto James in the 91st minute of play. Ildefonso Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Porfirio having to interfere. Ernesto James might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Balendin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto James ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Dario Monico made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Balendin. monterrey CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Millo FC fully deserved thier win.
