After a rather tough play, Escape libre's Fabricio Eliu got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Ariel Fernado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Illan, 1-0. Ariel Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, Escape libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Obeko to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Eliu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Illan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Fernado in the 20th minute. Escape libre's Rodrigo Illan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Escape libre from getting a goal against them. Cleto Cefero charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Cefero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Escape libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rodrigo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Illan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Fernado went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ariel Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Escape libre's zone, Dawid Oliszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Illan came out of the goal and Dawid Oliszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Illan having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Astor Castel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Escape libre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Fernado made a kick off. A collision led to Escape libre getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lucas Odilon hit a great ball. When Dawid Oliszewski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Palmira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Oliszewski couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Dawid Oliszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Castel in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Alejandro Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Gamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ariel Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmira FC's Dawid Oliszewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucas Odilon in the 86 minute of the game. Dawid Oliszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Alejandro Gamus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Illan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Palmira FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
