Severiano Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Serafin Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Matias Dino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guido Avellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 34 minutes, Matias Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored Deportivo Granate's protests and gave Gregorio Etxahun a yellow card for diving instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Gelacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Urbano Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Menendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO's Urbano Menendo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guido Avellaneda. Matias Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Guido Avellaneda made a huge save.
