Ceferino Etxeberri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filomeno Gorosti. 0-1. Rafael Quexal made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Anier Lixandro sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Temperley 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Fernanco came free, but Rafael Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Eustaquio Umea hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Temperley 1982 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Frances stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes in the game, Cristian Frances fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filomeno Gorosti having to interfere. Angelino Enekoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Filomeno Gorosti made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Atilano Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Enekoitz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Filomeno Gorosti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperley 1982. Rafael Quexal went to the wrong direction when Bernardo Haritzeder was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jorge Bakar charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Bakar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filomeno Gorosti made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Angelino Enekoitz sent off a good shot on target. Cirqueros de Floresta were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
