Santa Catalinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JuanPujol FC the free kick. Efrain Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cristo Rameriz took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Fertus. Filomeno Fertus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Catalinas FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Fertus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Silverio Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Santa Catalinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Galo to maneuver through the defense. If Silverio Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Ortle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 49th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Rameriz to make the kick off. Wilfredo Ortle scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Rafel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Karmel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Simon Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Catalinas FC. Wilfredo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Rafel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Ortle in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Rafel saved JuanPujol FC from getting behind. After 65 played minutes JuanPujol FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Telmo. After 70 played minutes JuanPujol FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Errolan. After 74 played minutes JuanPujol FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Telmo. Simon Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. JuanPujol FC's Simon Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Galo in the 84th minute of play. If Wilfredo Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Cristo Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Fertus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Rameriz's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. After a rather tough play, Santa Catalinas FC's Osvaldo Araoz got a free kick in the 98th minute. The JuanPujol FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Santa Catalinas FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
