An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Guillelmus in the 5th minute of play forced Afalpi FC's goalkeeper Enzo Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Lehoi in the 8th minute of play. Oscar Guillelmus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Ebardo having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Afalpi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Guillelmus came free, but Enzo Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Jose Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Afalpi FC booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Eate in the 22nd minute of play. Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bartolo Eate 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 33 minutes into the game, Oscar Guillelmus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enzo Ebardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Guillelmus in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Lehoi was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Guillelmus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Ebardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Independiente Rivadavia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Independiente Rivadavia defense, Rigoberto Savion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Omero. The Independiente Rivadavia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Omero should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Jose Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Kiliz's late challenge caught a Independiente Rivadavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Kiliz helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Lehoi in the 83rd minute of play. Enzo Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Lehoi in the 84th minute of the match. Oscar Guillelmus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Silvio Lonzo got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
