Spectators: 7056 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jose Lehoi kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Amado Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chumillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Omero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Castel made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tobias Omero would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Rivadavia's zone, Amado Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Omero came out of the goal and Amado Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jose Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Lehoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Urtsua was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tobias Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Chinto in the 38th minute of play. When Amado Castel came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Chumillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Castel couldn't finish the play. Jose Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jeronimo Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Chinto to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Rivadavia's zone, Arturo Chinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Omero came out of the goal and Arturo Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Castel struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tobias Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chumillo. Independiente Rivadavia's Tobias Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Castel in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ibon. Arturo Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Omero having to interfere. Oscar Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Lain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Omero. Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Independiente Rivadavia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
