The tension between the Afalpi FC and the Santa Catalinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Santa Catalinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Galo. Manuel Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Filomeno Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Ortle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afalpi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Catalinas FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Afalpi FC got a freekick which was hit by German Kiliz. After having played for 70 minutes, Manuel Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afalpi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santa Catalinas FC's Efrain Karmel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Rigoberto Savion was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Santa Catalinas FC's Primitivo Bladi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Wilfredo Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ebardo having to interfere. Enzo Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Karmel went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Enzo Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Efrain Karmel sent off a good shot on target. Efrain Karmel struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Enzo Ebardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Catalinas FC. Wilfredo Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Santa Catalinas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Afalpi FC throughout the match.
