When Mateo Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored atencio FC's protests and gave Mateo Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Dominic hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of atencio FC booed when Tipán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Quintun in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Reynardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Reynardo having to interfere. Julio Cayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Reynardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that David Quintun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Reynardo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Quintun in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Reynardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Tipán AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Silvestre Panpili hit a great ball. Julio Cayo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Reynardo. Siro Reynardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. David Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Eliseo Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. atencio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Siro Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Napier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Siro Reynardo made a huge save. Julio Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Reynardo having to interfere. David Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Reynardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Reynardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Cayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. David Quintun might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Reynardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Quintun ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of atencio FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tipán AFC:s goal. atencio FC:s Nestor Eneto showed great skill when he stopped Baldomiro Paulin:s penalty. Siro Reynardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Rafel in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, David Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. atencio FC's David Quintun got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Hugo Venceslas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tipán AFC and the atencio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tipán AFC's Hugo Venceslas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Eliseo Napier made a precise shot to the right of Siro Reynardo. Tipán AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Orlando Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. atencio FC played a much better game than Tipán AFC and deserved their victory.
