Melchor Hodei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Aurken went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th match minute, RolonetaCosmica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Nastasio to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Aurken charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Aurken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Rafaela's Marcelo Aurken got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Venancio Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. RolonetaCosmica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, Atlético de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Behe to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Enzo Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Maule made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Bernardo Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. Venancio Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético de Rafaela's Enzo Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Rafaela from getting a goal against them. Venancio Frasco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Melchor Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Aurken in the 37th minute of the match. When Haroldo Nastasio fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RolonetaCosmica FC's protests and gave Haroldo Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Baldomiro Gaitan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RolonetaCosmica FC's Melchor Hodei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Bernardo Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. RolonetaCosmica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Frasco in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Maule saved Atlético de Rafaela from getting behind. Bernardo Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Atlético de Rafaela's Marcelo Aurken came free and shot a quick shot against goal 64 minutes in the game, fortunately Melchor Hodei had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Elequemedo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, RolonetaCosmica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Amador Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Bernardo Birjaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enzo Maule was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute Bernardo Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Frasco in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Maule saved Atlético de Rafaela from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Atlético de Rafaela's Melchor Hodei threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Gaitan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. RolonetaCosmica FC's Melchor Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Gaitan in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
