Prospero Macario started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Ernesto Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caballito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for RolonetaCosmica FC. Fulgencio Abadie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Freddy Ubarna. 1-0. In the 15th minute of the match, Bernardo Birjaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Freddy Ubarna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Eugenio Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Venancio Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bernardo Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Ubarna having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Caballito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Franco to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Frasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Freddy Ubarna came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Frasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venancio Frasco to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Caballito FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Diego Tavio hit a great ball. Bernardo Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caballito FC's zone, Venancio Frasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Ubarna came out of the goal and Venancio Frasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caballito FC's Freddy Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Frasco in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Caballito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Tavio to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Abadie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Freddy Ubarna. Caballito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute, Daniel Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Efrain Elia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RolonetaCosmica FC's Melchor Hodei didn't even have to move. In the 72nd minute Haroldo Nastasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RolonetaCosmica FC's Bernardo Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Prospero Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Ubarna having to interfere. After 90 played minutes RolonetaCosmica FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Nastasio. RolonetaCosmica FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
