Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Mannie made the kick off which started today's match. Marco Cidro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Osvaldo Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Godoy couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Olivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Jaunzuria was a little too slow when Osvaldo Godoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Herminio Alonso got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Tomas Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Jatsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Candelaria's Osvaldo Godoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Jaunzuria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 19th minute Tomas Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Jatsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Viator's late challenge caught a Candelaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Viator helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Olivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Viator to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olivos's zone, Alberto Menendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Alberto Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Menendo in the 24th minute of play forced Olivos's goalkeeper Jacobo Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Godoy in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Jaunzuria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Osvaldo Godoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Jaunzuria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Godoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Guzman took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Jaunzuria. Jacobo Jaunzuria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 36th minute Alberto Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Angelino Aballe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Olivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Aballe to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Candelaria's Osvaldo Godoy made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Jaunzuria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Olivos's Angelino Aballe got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 48 minutes of play, Candelaria's Osvaldo Godoy made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Jaunzuria was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Menendo to make the kick off. Osvaldo Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Jaunzuria having to interfere. When Osvaldo Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. Jacobo Jaunzuria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Godoy's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jacobo Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Alberto Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Candelaria's Osvaldo Godoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Jaunzuria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candelaria's Osvaldo Godoy got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberto Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Alberto Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Celestino Viator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Jatsu came out of the goal and Celestino Viator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Candelaria were the better team. Candelaria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
