Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Remigio Lauaxeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Enekoitz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Manantiales's Freddy Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damaso Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Feliciano Montay hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Remigio Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Enekoitz having to interfere. Damaso Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Gelacio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Braulio Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Montay in the 19th minute. Manantiales's Remigio Lauaxeta managed to work through Boquerón's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Remigio Lauaxeta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Remigio Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Damaso Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manantiales's Remigio Lauaxeta got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manantiales were furious when Sebastian Sidoro was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manantiales fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Boquerón. Luis Bakar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Rafe. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Perutxo in the 74th minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Pedro Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manantiales's Pedro Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Perutxo in the 76th minute of play. Damaso Enekoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Lauaxeta's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Manantiales's Pedro Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Montay in the 96th minute of play. Manantiales played a much better game than Boquerón and deserved their victory. The Boquerón players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
