Olivos's players were relieved. Macachín's Antonio Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Quin in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Olivos's Jacobo Jaunzuria got control of the ball when Denis Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Tomas Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Olivos's Tomas Mannie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Eusebio Gartzea made the kick off in the second half. Antonio Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Zeledon Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gartzea in the 58th minute of play forced Olivos's goalkeeper Jacobo Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Chan having to interfere. Jacobo Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Gartzea in the 65th minute of play. Gabriel Palos's late challenge caught a Olivos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Palos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Macachín's Gabriel Palos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Antonio Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Jaunzuria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. The Olivos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olivos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
