If Luis Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Baldomero Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Raebert in the 13th minute of play forced Atletico Regina FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Atletico Regina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Alonso to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Ledesma in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Naelio saved Atletico Regina FC from getting behind.

The Atletico Regina FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
