Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tobias Frans took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Tobias Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 minutes of play, José Mourinho's Tobias Frans made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Lehoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Bonifaco having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Carolo Medina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. José Mourinho's Gerardo Maldonado got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Israel Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Frans hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cristobal Bonifaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Medina's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Venancio Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, RACING CLUB's Samuel Papo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Bonifaco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RACING CLUB reached it. Cristobal Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Samuel Papo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Bonifaco skillfully saved the ball. Tobias Frans was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. José Mourinho's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Evaristo Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Frans, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute of the match José Mourinho got a corner. RACING CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Dorio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Uriel Dorio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evaristo Lehoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the match, José Mourinho's goalkeeper Cristobal Bonifaco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Jurdan. When Carolo Medina came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the RACING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Medina couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Gerardo Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. José Mourinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Maldonado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Carolo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as RACING CLUB's Carolo Medina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Bonifaco. That made the score 1-2 after 72 minutes of play. If Carolo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Lehoi having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Gerardo Maldonado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Lehoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Frans in the 89th minute of the match. RACING CLUB's Israel Dayam got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cristobal Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RACING CLUB eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
