After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Aquilino Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Oidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Federigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nemesio Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nicolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Incendio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Ralondo having to interfere. Nereo Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Beltxe's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Delmiro Beltxe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Merengue's Nereo Ralondo. Nereo Ralondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Atlético Nicolas's Bartolo Federigo got control of the ball when Aquilino Oidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Federigo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Aquilino Oidor sent off a good shot on target. Aquilino Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartolo Federigo was a little too slow when Bruno Segio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Nereo Ralondo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Nicolas's Marcial Guillelmus. But to his dismay, Marcial Guillelmus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Delmiro Beltxe scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Ralondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Beltxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bruno Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Delmiro Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 60 in the game by Delmiro Beltxe from a close distance when the talented Nereo Ralondo managed to make a qualified save. Merengue's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the match, Atlético Nicolas's Roberto Abajas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Ralondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nereo Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Beltxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Beltxe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Nereo Ralondo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Delmiro Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Roberto Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Nicolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Nemesio Incendio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nereo Ralondo, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Nereo Ralondo managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute, Delmiro Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
