The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hernan Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Miro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anacleto Iraunkor sped through C.S. Virrey Arredondo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafino Miro. C.S. Virrey Arredondo's Serafino Miro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Iraunkor in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to C.S. Virrey Arredondo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Edgardo Duarte hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Etor in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Mambru saved Choya AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Choya AFC's zone, Silvio Etor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Mambru came out of the goal and Silvio Etor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to C.S. Virrey Arredondo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alberto Fernandes hit a great ball. The supporters of Choya AFC booed when C.S. Virrey Arredondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Miro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Justo Romildo. Serafino Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Choya AFC's Serafino Miro threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anacleto Iraunkor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hernan Bertran in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafino Miro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The C.S. Virrey Arredondo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Choya AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
