An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Orlondon in the 4th minute of play forced Ceibas's goalkeeper Benigno Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Laureano Txanton fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceibas's protests and gave Laureano Txanton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Laureano Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ibar having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Santiago Ciceron sped through Ceibas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benigno Ibar. Santiago Ciceron succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Leonides Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Umea in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anchorena's goalkeeper Leonides Gentza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Orlondon to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Anchorena getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Teobaldo Ayala hit a great ball. Benigno Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Orlondon in the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute, one of Anchorena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anchorena. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Ceibas. Daniel Quinteros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonides Gentza. 2-1. Santiago Ciceron might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Ciceron ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ceibas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Laureano Txanton hit a great ball. Santos Orlondon might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Orlondon ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Ceibas booed when Anchorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Abel Umea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anchorena's Leonides Gentza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Santiago Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leonides Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
