The referee ignored Anchorena's protests and gave Hermengildo Galoer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Hermengildo Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Gentza was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Rodrigo Vitin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Vitin really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Ubaldo Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Branca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Vitin in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anchorena's zone, Rodrigo Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Gentza came out of the goal and Rodrigo Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Vitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Gentza was relentless in the 70th minute of the game.
