After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Martin Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tu Vieja's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Quinito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Sayvion in the 33rd minute of the match. Paulo Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st match minute, Ceibas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. Dario Eufrasio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Benedicto Oroitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Abel Umea made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Quinito made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Paulo Sayvion sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tu Vieja's Martin Vincent got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Francisco Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Francisco Quinito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Sayvion in the 62nd minute. Damaso Erdiano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Paulo Sayvion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Francisco Quinito made a huge save. If Abel Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tu Vieja's Francisco Quinito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Tu Vieja from getting a goal against them. Abel Umea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Quinito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Leonel Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Oroitz in the 93rd minute of play. Leonel Illan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Ibar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Leonel Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ibar having to interfere. Tu Vieja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
