Roman Franco hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Anchorena's Santos Orlondon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Quinito. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Santiago Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Quinito stood somewhat misplaced when Santos Orlondon came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Tu Vieja's Francisco Quinito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Orlondon in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Orlondon in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Quinito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd match minute, Tu Vieja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Illan to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Galoer might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Quinito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Galoer ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Orlondon in the 37th minute of play forced Tu Vieja's goalkeeper Francisco Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Tu Vieja's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Orlondon came free, but Francisco Quinito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Ciceron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Francisco Quinito made a huge save. Santos Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Quinito having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Santiago Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tu Vieja defense, Santos Orlondon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Quinito. The Tu Vieja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Quinito should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Oroitz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Santos Orlondon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anchorena and the Tu Vieja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anchorena's Santos Orlondon got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Francisco Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Ciceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Leonel Illan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Leonides Gentza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 62 played minutes Anchorena got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Galoer. Francisco Quinito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Servando went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Tu Vieja's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Orlondon came free, but Francisco Quinito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Illan scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Gentza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes, Hermengildo Galoer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anchorena and the Tu Vieja players grew even worse after the yellow card.
