Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Funebrero FC's Paulino Etxekopar in the 9th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cecilio Pinto was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for KarNahu FC through an amazing save. Bernardino Liher got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 11th match minute before Cecilio Pinto had time to react. Remigio Ekain charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Ekain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KarNahu FC's Remigio Ekain got a free kick in the 29th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's Paulino Etxekopar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Emmanuel made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Funebrero FC's Carlos Ritchie.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KarNahu FC booed when Funebrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Teofilo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Liher's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The Funebrero FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Funebrero FC's Paulino Etxekopar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cecilio Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Liher in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, KarNahu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Etxekopar came free, but Cecilio Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teofilo Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KarNahu FC's protests and gave Teofilo Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Funebrero FC fully deserved thier win.
