In the 13th minute Narciso Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Jerrold in the 18th minute of play forced KarNahu FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Shantala in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Los Correcaminos booed when KarNahu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KarNahu FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teofilo Domingues hit a great ball. Cecilio Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Hernando in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Emiliano Shantala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomás Senio. The goal made the score 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KarNahu FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Shantala in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Senio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Los Correcaminos's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Shantala came free, but Tomás Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Jerrold got free with Cecilio Pinto in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Senio having to interfere. The nice shot from Rene Jerrold in the 92ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cecilio Pinto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Narciso Hernando struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Cecilio Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Correcaminos. KarNahu FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
