The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Macario in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Mincho saved Mesada from getting behind. Gerardo Beltran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Mincho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Gerardo Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esteban Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Andres Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Mesada getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Agustin Bastia hit a great ball. Andres Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Macario in the 23rd minute of play. After 25th play minutes Esteban Macario shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Andres Mincho and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Urtsin in the 30th minute of play forced Mesada's goalkeeper Andres Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Romildo came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sixto Rubio could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Esteban Macario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Mincho was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Andres Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Macario's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With an all-out effort, Mesada's Sixto Rubio threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Astor Bibiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erubiel Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Erubiel Romildo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sixto Rubio. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Su was the one to do the kick off. Erubiel Romildo scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Rubio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andres Mincho made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Esteban Macario sent off a good shot on target. Erubiel Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Erubiel Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Mincho having to interfere. During the 77th minute of the match Erubiel Romildo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erubiel Romildo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Calesita FC booed when Mesada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteban Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Macario in the 82nd minute of play forced Mesada's goalkeeper Andres Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Macario in the 84th minute of play. Esteban Macario didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Calesita FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Esteban Macario came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Calesita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Macario couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Mincho having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Esteban Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calesita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mesada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Calesita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
