But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Romildo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 12 minutes, Israel Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Ramon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Dalmai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Mitxaut in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Mincho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Txilar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lino Montae took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Ihintza. Don Ramon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Bibiano in the 23rd minute of play forced Don Ramon's goalkeeper Joel Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Erubiel Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesada's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Ihintza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andres Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Ramon's Joel Ihintza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Don Ramon from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Israel Dalmai made a precise shot to the right of Andres Mincho. Mesada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Su stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Su in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Don Ramon got a freekick which was hit by Victor Mitxaut. After 55 played minutes, Mesada's Lino Montae shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Ihintza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mesada reached it. In the 60th minute of the match Lino Montae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Ihintza skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mesada's zone, Israel Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Mincho came out of the goal and Israel Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesada's goalkeeper Andres Mincho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abelardo Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Ihintza having to interfere. Israel Dalmai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andres Mincho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Astor Bibiano's late challenge caught a Don Ramon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Bibiano helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Bibiano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Don Ramon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mesada throughout the match.
