Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Emiliano Shantala started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in KarNahu FC's zone, Omar Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Pinto came out of the goal and Omar Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Gastre got a freekick which was hit by Javier Calixto. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind KarNahu FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Pinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KarNahu FC's Alfonso Lordi got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Gastre's Ricardo Lawrence broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Omar Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cecilio Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Fernandez in the 23rd minute of play forced KarNahu FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cecilio Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Aquilino Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KarNahu FC's Cecilio Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aquilino Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gastre's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aquilino Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Calixto during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Javier Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Barbosa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Oscar Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KarNahu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastre the free kick. The supporters of Gastre booed when KarNahu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Barbosa in the 55th minute of play. Aquilino Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cecilio Pinto made a huge save. KarNahu FC's Cecilio Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save KarNahu FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, KarNahu FC's Cecilio Pinto got control of the ball when Aquilino Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, KarNahu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Barbosa came free, but Cecilio Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gastre's zone, Remigio Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Burni came out of the goal and Remigio Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laureano Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gastre defense, Emiliano Shantala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Burni. The Gastre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Burni should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Gastre's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Ekain came free, but Laureano Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gastre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
