Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Cuarto got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Ortle got free with Isidro Koldo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 played minutes Newells old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Astor Guerau. Isidro Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With an all-out effort, Conlara's Isidro Koldo threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Cuarto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Albano Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Newells old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Cuarto came free, but Isidro Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgard Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Savier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Sagrario during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conlara's Fabian Sagrario got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Newells old Boys's Prudencio Sandaili tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Conlara's Pastor Cordaro got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Albano Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Conlara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Vela might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Nesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Vela ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Conlara's Pascual Orlanda got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Isidro Koldo. If Edgard Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Savier was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Vela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gabriel Nesor made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Pastor Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Koldo having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Newells old Boys's Edgard Vela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Nesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conlara's Gabriel Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Savier in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Joel Cuarto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Newells old Boys's Gabriel Nesor threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Savier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Filomeno Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conlara's protests and gave Filomeno Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Ourente hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Newells old Boys's Prudencio Sandaili broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Filomeno Ourente hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Ortle in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Koldo saved Newells old Boys from getting behind. Ceferino Cidro's late challenge caught a Conlara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Cidro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute of the match Pascual Orlanda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Koldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gabriel Nesor made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Edgard Vela sent off a good shot on target. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Conlara were victorious despite being under pressure from Newells old Boys for much of the match.
