The supporters of Chacras AFC booed when Cieneguita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Giraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Giraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Cieneguita FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Gaizko was the one to do the kick off. Saul Gaizko really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 70 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Mede came free, but Reynaldo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Filomeno Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Chacras AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Tome. In the 92nd minute of the match Gilberto Gilabert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braulio Xabier skillfully saved the ball. Benito Justin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Braulio Xabier made a huge save.
