The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejo Lon charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Lon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cieneguita FC booed when q t importa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Timoteo Bitxintxo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Benito Justin took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Ignazio. Albano Ignazio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Cieneguita FC's Saul Gaizko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Ignazio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Goito got free with Reynaldo Cortez in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicolas Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Albano Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Alejo Lon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Albano Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Justin in the 83rd minute of the match. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel.
